My name is Raee and this is a story of how I got my dog. I know you’re probably thinking, "wow how boring she probably went to a store and bought a dog how interesting...". And obviously at one point, I went and bought a dog, but aside from that it was totally different! Let me just tell you what happened...
One day my dad said we were going somewhere, to a friends house actually. I was tired so I just pulled the covers over my head and went back to bed. Once I could see straight and walk because I was sooooo tired; BTW this was at 10:00 am and I know it seems late but we... actually just listen to the story. Where was I? Ah, yes. Let me proceed. I changed my clothes, brushed my teeth, did my hair and we zoomed out the door, dogless. Then we went really far to a part of New York where I haven’t exactly been before, Queens! Once we were there we entered a house. Apparently my dads "friends" house. There was a huge fish tank and not a lot of people. This man came and asked us "what kind of color do you want for your dog?" That is when I realized. We weren't at a friends house, we were at a *dog store that was in a house!
We decided a white dog with brown spots is what we wanted and then he showed us four. My dad, brother and I were each holding a different puppy and there was one that the worker was holding. We each wanted the one that we were holding but we ended up going with the one in my brothers hand.
"The dogs name is Fabien" the worker said. But we quickly changed it to Ozzie! Named by me. (:
We had to leave this time but we came back another two times before we got him just to make sure he was old enough. But then the day finally came... I held him and brought him in the car and put him inside a pet carrier because it was kind of a long ride. He
ended up throwing up. Thank god he was inside a pet carrier.😉
Once we got home he was scared and he didn’t move. But by later that day he got
REALLY used to it. (:
And THAT is the story of how I got OZZIE!!
**not a dog store INSIDE of the house, it was a house that was selling dogs.
